Love it! Thanks for being so honest! This is the reason why I stopped posting on Medium myself. Although I’m so grateful that I’ve been successful in my writing career in so many other ways, Medium never really quite took off for me (beyond making me a few pennies a month!!) and I realised it wasn’t fulfilling myself creatively when I strived to make my articles fit the criterion that medium readers seemed to respond to!! So I stopped. And I’m happier for it. I’ve found, with many things, that if money-making is the only goal, you’re gonna end up quitting for sure. I think we know, deep down, money doesn’t buy happiness, or indeed self fulfilment beyond a few material gains!!

Well done for making a decision to stop clicking your stats and well done for responding to your own needs first!
